The Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge provides inexpensive and accurate rainfall measurement.
#2226
Precipitation is collected in a funnel and measured by the calibrated tipping bucket. For each 0.254 mm (.01") of precipitation, the bucket tips, empties, and activates an output switch.
The rain gauge tipping bucket mounts via three mounting legs with 6.3 mm (.025") diameter holes on a 241 mm (9.5") diameter circle. This kit includes 7 m (24') of cable as well as the mounting platform and pipe to install this sensor next to your meteorological tower.
